3.5.   Period of Implementation

The new proposal covers the period January 2002 to December 2005. This ensures smooth transition from current Sida support and also coincides with the period of RGC/UNICEF’s current country program which began in 2001 and is scheduled to end in 2005, as well as with the ESP 2001-2005.
