The Annual Summative Conference on Common Values in Education, Youth and Sport 2004-2005

The Ministry of Education Youth and Sport (MoEYS) has the honor to inform the public that MoEYS will hold its Annual Summative Conference on Common Values in Education, Youth and Sport 2004-2005 from 25-27 October 2005. The opening ceremony will be presided over by Samdach Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Royal Government of Cambodia at CHAKTOMUK Conference Hall. The group discussion sessions and the Closing Ceremony will be at the Institute of Technology of Cambodia.

The annual education conference is to focus on ways to increase the promotion rate and decrease the dropout rate in Cambodian schools; Schools Environment Management; Reform of Schools Environment Implementation of the Early Childhood Education Policy, especially for children aged five; the School Environment; the Development of the Secondary Education Curriculum; Strengthening the Non-Formal Education Structure; Learning Center Development; Finance and Financing in Higher Education; School Curriculum Dissemination; Access for Students to Higher Education; The Working Process of the Effective Child Board; Youth in Primary and Secondary Education; Improvement of Quality and Effectiveness in Education, Youth and Sport; Education Service Effectiveness and Teacher Development; Highlights in Quality Management and the Rationalization of Civil Service Employment, and Highlights in Statistics and Sector-Wide Reporting for goal-setting in Education, Youth and Sport 2005-2006.

Participants in the session will include representatives of MoEYS, provincial/ municipal and district offices of Education, Youth and Sport, local and international NGOs and donor agencies.
